The “Scrappers” of the Burton United Church of Christ is one of the many out-reach groups of the church. It is made up of a group of ladies who might sew, cut, or tie the quilts. The beneficiaries of these quilts are Hattie Larlham Home, Women Safe, and Birth Right. They also donate to some of the shut-ins. The group enjoys good times, food, and friendships.
