​​​The Burton Food Cupboard began serving Geauga County residents in 1977. What started out as helping a dozen families a month and has grown to serve over 300 families each month.

Neighbors in need can choose from: bread, produce, dairy products, eggs, meat, boxed and canned items. Additional helpful items available include: paper products, cleaning products and personal care items.

To receive assistance, please bring a driver’s license or photo ID with your address on your first visit. We will also need the names and birthdates of all household members.

​

Guests will be provided a 7-10 day supply of food. We ask that you arrive at least 20 minutes prior to the closing time. Households can come to the pantry once a month. We encourage the use of reusable bags if possible.
 

In the case of inclement weather, we will be closed when Berkshire School District is closed.

If you are interested in volunteering, we are looking for volunteers willing to commit a day a week on a regular basis in order to provide the most efficient service to our clients.
