Burton Food Cupboard

Our food pantry is open 5 days a week. On any of these days you will find wonderful volunteers busy unloading, organizing, serving those in need, and sharing stories together.

Gene and Deb Brun have been in charge of this worthwhile resource for many years, following the retirement of Mary Wilson and Rita Kenney. We have recently formed a committee to take charge of the food cupboard and are looking for any volunteers who would like to be a part of this meaningful service.

Thanks to the efforts of Alan Siewert, we now have great shelving to allow visitors to choose items they need, which helps eliminate waste.

Food Cupboard Report

Congratulation Gene Brun, who was honored by the East Geauga Kiwanis. Gene was given the "Big Heart Award", for his many years of service to the community. Most recently, he is in charge of our Burton Food Cupboard. Gene puts countless hours into making this important service a success.

He is pictured left, with his wife, Deb, who works with Gene keeping the food cupboard going. Thank you Gene and Deb, and all our food pantry volunteers!

Thank you!

Thank you to the Junction Auto Family and Greater Cleveland Food Bank for helping us to secure a new van.

This van will help us to transport food to many people in need in Geauga County.
