Welcome!
The Burton Congregational Church was organized in 1808. Our church has been renovated many times over the years. A great deal of energy, ideas and love can been seen in every crack and crevice. We are the United Church of Christ. By our very name, we declare ourselves to be a part of the body of Christ- the Christian Church. Our church welcomes new members and works to be a resource for the Burton community. On any given day, the church hosts community events and is the home to the Burton Food Cupboard. While there is much diversity in our membership, the common thread that holds us together is our love for Jesus Christ and each other. Please join us!
Our Congregation's Mission

Christmas Gifts and Mitten Tree
The Church and Community Committee will be collecting Christmas gifts for area families in need again this year. Gift requests will be on tags hanging on a Christmas tree in the social hall, We will also have a mitten tree inside the entrance of Burton Elementary again, where donations of hats, scarves, and gloves, as well as mittens may be placed on the tree. Those items may also be placed on the tree in the social hall.

Thank you to Laura Straniero, for enlightening us on "Word Made Flesh", a program that supports prostituted women, to help them learn new skills and start a new life.
Also, a big thanks to "Spirit Bound", for their support and the beautiful music they provided.
Thanksgiving morning, at 8:00am, there will be a Turkey Trot at the Chardon Square, with proceeds going to support this great mission. Registration starts at 7:30.
